The list of bank written and unwritten requirements in the RDC space continues to grow as the product has become more mainstream. Banks are not only responsible for vetting their customers at product onboarding, but also required to have a strong program in place to ensure clients using the service remain suitable and meet regulatory requirements. Without a strong risk management program, gaps in identifying non compliance with the regulations and potential increased operational risk may lead to fines and increased expenses.
