U.S. Bank Partners with Harley Marine for Mobile Deposit Services

Thursday, May 09, 2013 (U.S. Bancorp / U.S. Bancorp)

Seattle, May 9, 2013 – U.S. Bank is partnering with Seattle-based Harley Marine, a nationwide marine transportation service company, to provide a new mobile service that allows Harley Marine to deposit checks without visiting the bank. On-Site Electronic Deposit Mobile -- an expansion of U.S. Bank’s existing business remote deposit capture service, On-Site Electronic Deposit -- saves time and eliminates the delays typically associated with paper check payments.

“U.S. Bank is a leader in mobile innovation," said Jeff Jones, executive vice president for U.S. Bank Global Treasury Management. “As the financial landscape changes, U.S. Bank is committed to providing clients with innovative and effective methods of achieving their treasury management goals. On-Site Electronic Deposit Mobile strengthens our remote deposit strategy, and addresses common problems many businesses have with managing their receivables.”

For businesses that have employees accepting payments away from the main office, On-Site Electronic Deposit Mobile enables business customers to maximize their funds availability while streamlining the receivables management process.

“We are a national business with employees operating approximately 100 vessels out of nine different ports. Providing them a way to deposit payments via mobile allows us to gain efficiency, which is vital to our continued success,” said Michelle Moll, corporate controller for Harley Marine Services. “With operations on both coasts and in the Gulf of Mexico, having a secure method to deposit checks remotely was vital, providing quicker access to our working capital.”

The On-Site Electronic Deposit Mobile service is currently available for iPhone and Android mobile devices.
