Minnetonka, MN, April 13, 2012 - Minnesota Item Processing Corporation (MnIPC), an independent check processor serving credit unions and financial institutions, is now supporting CFC Technology’s Mobile Deposit® solution.
"CFC Technology has done a nice job with their RDC Managed Services™ program in offering merchant remote deposit services to our credit union clients," said Michelle Carlson, MnIPC Vice President. "Adding the Mobile Deposit® option to our interface allows us to assist our clients in offering affordable mobile capture services that will help them compete with larger, regional financial institutions."
CFC’s Mobile Deposit® solution allows consumers and small business owners to deposit checks into their checking or savings account via their smartphone. Users simply take a photo of the front and back of their checks and submit the deposit to their financial institution through a secure smartphone software application.
"We are pleased to offer Mobile Deposit® capture services to credit unions that utilize MnIPC’s check clearing services," noted Jim Brummer, Product Manager at CFC Technology. "Mobile Deposit® strengthens our existing merchant remote deposit capture services with MnIPC and their member credit unions."
Credit unions will benefit from Mobile Deposit’s® ability to reduce check transactions at the branch, strengthen existing member relationships and attract new deposit members.
