Indianapolis, Indiana - August 15, 2011 – FORUM Credit Union now offers a new service that will provide members with a faster and easier way to deposit their checks. Mobile DeposZip allows members to make check deposits to their FORUM account from the convenience of their eligible mobile device.
Released in July, FORUM’s Mobile DeposZip extends service to members’ mobile devices without requiring members to deliver a hard copy of their checks. The remote deposit capture service enables members to use a specific smartphone camera along with the software that FORUM provides to send secure digital images of checks to deposit into their account from anywhere. Members simply need to download the FORUM CU Mobile DeposZip App from the Apple Store or Android market, launch the app, enter their CU Online login information, and select the account they wish to deposit the check into.
“Expanding our remote deposit capture service beyond members’ home computers to their mobile devices is another way FORUM is able to provide members with convenient access to their accounts. Since launching, the adoption of the mobile version of this service has been strong, with positive feedback about its ease of use,” says Kristi Lowell, FORUM Vice President Retail Delivery.
