ORLANDO, Fla.-(BUSINESS WIRE)-Digital Check Corporation, a leading provider of electronic check scanners for the distributed check capture industry, announced its new TellerScan® TS4120 check scanner today at the BAI TransPay conference. The TellerScan TS4120 represents a fourth generation design of scanners for high volume branch automation and corporate remote deposit, branch or merchant back office conversion applications.

The TS4120 provides enhanced processing capabilities for back office production scanning applications, featuring a 100-item, jam-resistant feeder, two large output pockets, and document scanning speeds up to 120 documents per minute, depending upon the check capture application and configuration. The TS4120 offers the same high quality design and features of the TellerScan brand including Best Read® image thresholding and Best Read® MICR technology to maximize image quality and accurate data capture. The introduction of TS4120 expands the TellerScan product line used in more than 10,000 client installations around the world.

"Digital Check scanners are known throughout the industry for producing the highest quality check images," stated John Gainer, Digital Check executive vice president. "We design our scanners for lowest total cost of ownership, which for Check 21 applications, translates into scanners that generate the highest quality images, MICR read accuracy and overall reliability to reduce user intervention. This allows our end-users to realize the lowest back-end operations cost and the highest customer satisfaction."

Digital Check scanners feature a common application programming interface which allows for quick and easy integration with USB 2.0 plug-and-play connections. Adding a TS4120 scanner to an existing Digital Check scanner network or upgrading an existing scanning device within a check capture application requires little software and implementation time.
