If 2020 taught us anything, it is that contactless payments are now the norm in a world continually evolving and adapting to a digital-first mindset.
Whether through online or touchless sales in person at grocery, hardware or retail stores, the increase in contactless payments has been an important movement in maintaining the U.S. economy while keeping people safe and secure.
Small-business owners have had one of the largest business concept adjustments through the pandemic. In the past, some business owners eschewed the use of credit and debit card payments due to their associated fees and instead insisted on cash or checks from customers. Those days may be behind us now with the need to provide safe and secure payment methods for even the smallest business owner.
