Bank of Internet Brings Check Depositing Home With MyDeposit

Thursday, July 14, 2011 (BofI Holding, Inc.)

With MyDeposit, Bank of Internet customers can deposit checks from their home or office using a variety of scanning devices.
SAN DIEGO, CA - July 14, 2011- Bank of Internet USA has made branchless banking even more convenient with the introduction of MyDeposit. With MyDeposit, Bank of Internet customers can deposit checks from their home or office using a variety of scanning devices. MyDeposit is offered free of charge to Bank of Internet customers.

"MyDeposit is part of our commitment to provide our customers innovative solutions that allow us to deliver all the functionality of a branch-based bank, while continuing to provide a significantly better value to our customers in the form of better interest rates and lower fees," said Greg Garrabrants, President and CEO of Bank of Internet. "As other banks increase fees for checking accounts and reduce features, we are moving rapidly against that trend and toward offering our customers better value products that will allow them to migrate away from branch-based banks for their primary account relationships."

MyDeposit requires a personal scanning device and a registered Bank of Internet account. To deposit checks using a scanner, Bank of Internet customers should log into their accounts. Choose MyDeposit, select the account into which the deposit should be made, endorse the check, enter the amount and scan both sides of the check. It is that simple!
