Common Challenges when transitioning to cloud-based solutions
We received the following question;

What are the most common challenges incurred when transitioning to a cloud-based remittance system, and how do you deal with / overcome those challenges? For example, systems & data integration challenges and solutions.

RE:Common Challenges when transitioning to cloud-based solutions
We have not found much difference between a cloud environment and an on-premise system when it comes to integrating with backend office systems. The TPS cloud platform can utilize both data files and web service interfaces for performing data lookups and validations. Likewise, TPS can export data via either data files or web service interfaces. The biggest challenge is always to get clear file or interface specifications and well-defined requirements. We find that the actual integration and testing goes a bit faster in the cloud environment because our staff can turn around changes and perform testing more quickly than when the system is located on-premise.

Another change for operators with an existing system is simply getting used to the behavior of the application within a web browser rather than a desktop application. We address this early in the process by providing access to our testing and training environment so that they are very comfortable with the functionality and behavior of the cloud based system by the time they go into live production.

Analyzed Savings or MMA accounts on RDC

What would be some reasons why a Financial Institution would prohibit (or allow) RDC on Analyzed SAV/MMA?
