Thinking About Reg CC? So Are We.
Thinking About Reg CC? So Are We

Changes to Regulation CC to address responsibility in the case of duplicate deposits have left many financial institutions confused and unsure of how to navigate these new waters. We’ve been thinking about this for some time and have some ideas that may help you address the new regulations.*

Harland Clarke’s mobile security features — ImageMatch® and MobileMark® — may help.*

ImageMatch features

ImageMatch verifies that the front and back of a check belong to one another. Harland Clarke checks include account number, check number and personalization on the back of the check, reducing the chances of fraudulent duplicate use of an endorsement for multiple checks.

MobileMark features

The MobileMark checkbox appears on the reverse of Harland Clarke checks. Soon, it will be changed to read “Check here for mobile or remote deposit at ___________.” When used by consumers when endorsing a check for remote or mobile deposit, MobileMark may meet your financial institution’s needs for more specific mobile deposit endorsement.*

RE:Analyzed Savings or MMA accounts on RDC

Do you mean RDC into SAV or MMA Accounts?  A consumer could RDC into a SAV or MMA I beleive. But for commercial customers you cant by law in most places co-mingle security deposits with regular funds due to the required accounting of those funds.  It creates a terribly challenging acco...

Analyzed Savings or MMA accounts on RDC

What would be some reasons why a Financial Institution would prohibit (or allow) RDC on Analyzed SAV/MMA? The use case for some businesses, such as Property Management Companies wishing to deposit directly into an Analyzed MMA where security deposits are held, has been brought to our attention, b...
