The Bancorp Bank recently added a second r/t on which customers can write checks.  We're hearing that some mobile deposit apps are not accepting these checks for deposit and are indicating that the r/t on the item does not match or is not valid. 
I am looking for help in reaching out to any capture vendor that may need to add this r/t to its validation tables. 
The number in question is 031101334.
The r/t can be verified through the Fed if needed.  Hopefully most providers are updating regularly with the latest Fed records however we're finding that some do not.

Any help in spreading the word on this would be greatly appreciated!
 

I find it unusal that the mobile application is searching a table of "all" RTs. Normally, validation using the Check Digit Validation routine is sufficient. I performed the CDV on this number and it is valid.  I also searched the FED ACH RT table and it is listed there. I menton that becaue if a RT was issued for checks only, it might not be in the ACH table and if the vendor used that table then it possibly wouldn't be found. In my opinion, there should not be a reason to validate the RT through a full RT search table. That is the practice in Canada but rare in the US. Even after the point of validation, the determination of how to route an item isn't throguh a full RT search table. Hope that helps.

Bancorp Bank resolve this issue?  We have another bank client that has the same problem with a new R/T.  Multiple depository banks are rejecting it even after the new R/T was live for 2 months.

I do not believe this is Bancorp's issue to resolve since it's been pointed out that this routing is already showing in the fed table. But unfortunately, many sending banks only update their fed file once a year, if that. Even established banks!

I would recommend you call Santander (or whatever the official transfering bank is) tonight and see if they can refresh their table or if they think it will be done by 2021. LOL

I will also call Bancorp and see if I can be assigned a new account to a different routing number rather than one they just picked up. Because two banks I tried to transfer in to Bancorp now won't accept this routing number, even though it's been at least six months or more than I've had the established account.
