While I believe some of the points and recommnedations are still valid, the RDC industry has evolved and that a new set of best practices can be created.
I am curious to hear from the community (from both End Users and Solution Providers), what their recent Best Practices are:
- Should an end user handle Deployment, Fulfillment, Service and Support themselves? At what point do you hand it over to someone else?
- What do you look out for in:
- Pre-Installation and program management?
- Solution Installation?
- Preventative maintenance?
- Service and support?
- Upgrading software and hardware
