John Leekley, MBA, CCM
CEO, Founder
John has over 15 years experience in cash management, product management, strategy and development, and general banking. Prior to starting RemoteDepositCapture.com, John worked at HSBC Bank USA, Bankers Trust / Deutsche Bank, PriceWaterhouseCoopers Consulting, and started Blue Mountain Consulting in 2003.
Of interesting note, in 1995 John was the Product Manager and Project Manager for (then) Bankers Trust's first-of-its-kind international cash letter remote capture processing facility in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The processing facility remains in operation today.
John earned his MBA in Management & Entrepreneurship from NYU's Stern School of Business in 2002.
Silvia Coba, MA
Founder, Director
Silvia has over 11 years experience in check processing operations, product management, strategy and development. Prior to starting RemoteDepositCapture.com, Silvia was the Senior Cash Letter Product Manager at Deutsche Bank and led the development of DB's Remote Deposit Capture strategy.
Silvia earned her Masters in Political Science from Rutgers University in 1994
Lui King, MBA
Chief Operating Officer
As the Chief Technology Officer, Lui is responsible for the implementation of new Technologies to enhance the processes and customer experience at RemoteDepositCapture.com.
Prior to joining RemoteDepositCapture.com, Lui worked in the Finance organization of The Home Depot where he was responsible for forecasting $16 billion in expenses. More recently, he worked with an automotive supplier in Germany, Hungary and Romania where he was involved with product development, factory start ups and identifying new manufacturing facilities.
Lui also held a position at Avantrust, an E-Commerce start up and joint venture between AIG and Dun & Bradstreet, where he worked in Finance and Development.
Lui earned both a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from the University of Miami (FL) and received an MBA in Finance and Management from the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer and volunteers with Community Consulting Teams in Atlanta and Willowbrook Museum Village in Maine.
Ed McLaughlin
Executive Director
Ed has over 25 years executive level experience in product/project management, life cycle management, sales, and technology leadership from business requirements definition through technology assessment and product development. Prior to joining RemoteDepositCapture.com Ed was with NetDeposit. Ed joined NetDeposit in 2002 and has been involved in Remote Capture since then working with a number of the largest banks in planning, implementing and rolling out remote capture systems. Ed has extensive expertise in the areas of Check 21, ACH (ARC/BOC), risk management and other imaging based applications.
David Marks
Director of Technology
David brings with him over 10 years of experience in software development. Prior to joining RemoteDepositCapture.com, David was Senior Software Engineer and Development Lead for the Billing Systems Department at LexisNexis Risk & Information Analytics Group (formerly Seisint Inc.). While working at LexisNexis David was responsible for development and maintenance of a billing platform that handled in excess of $20 million per month in revenue. He also played an integral part in providing technical and thought leadership alongside senior management on company-wide strategic initiatives.
As Director of Technology, David is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and management of Technologies to provide the best customer experience at RemoteDepositCapture.com.
